Ms. Ann

Owner and Director

Ann has earned her CDA Credentialand her Early Care and Education Certificate of Proficiency.She has completed Project Construct Curriculum Training and  Emotional Beginnings Infant Toddler curriculum training. Ann has been certified in First aid and CPR since 1979

Ann has been working with children since 1979 and has owned and operated Home Away From Home Child Care Center Inc. since 1996. She is a member of the National Association for the Education of Young Children and a member of the National Association for Family Child Care. She enjoys working with children of all ages and loves seeing them progress and learn. In her free time she likes to spend time with family,  read and listen to music. She also likes to see new places and meet new people.

Ann is mother to 2 adult, married daughters. She also became a grandmother in December of 2011.

Ms. Abbie

Director of Beginning Steps in Bourbon

B. S. in Child and Family Development from Missouri State University.

Abbie has been working with children for over 8 years professionally. In her free time she enjoys watching movies, spending time with family and cooking.  She was recently married and enjoys her new life with Mr. Matt.

Part time Assistant Teacher

Has been working with children professionally for 3 years and in her spare time enjoys her family and children.

Ms. Molly

Currently attending college working toward her early childhood degree and has been working at HAFH since July 2010.

Ms Caroline

Part time assistant since  November 2012. Caroline is currently attending Webster University and is working towards a Degree in Education.

Ms Lauren

Part time assistant assistant since February2013. Lauren is currently attending St Louis Community College working towards a degree in Education.

Part time Assistant Teacher at Beginning Steps in Bourbon

Bria has been working with us since October 2011, and in her spare time likes to read books and watch movies.

Ms.  Christy

 Part Time Assistant at  Beginning Steps in Bourbon

Has been working at Beginning Steps since September 2011 and is currently working toward her early childhood degree. In her spare time she is an active church member and enjoys her family.
